There was so much to cover in my previous post that I had to do another one!
So if you haven't already, go check out my first post on Easter home decor ideas where I rounded up simple ways to style your space using what you already own.
Think of that one as your starting point...and this one as a continuation.
If you've been looking for a reason to spruce up your space for spring, this is it.
And it’s ok with me if you want to keep them out well past Easter!
A Spin on Decorated Eggs
Nothing wrong with dyeing eggs…but why not go a step further and add some cute faces? You can easily pull this off with some paint pens, or even markers.
Place a simple bowl full of decorated eggs on a coffee table or kitchen counter, or anywhere in your home that needs some Easter love. Grab a few white eggs, some paint pens, and whatever pretty fillers you have on hand, and you've got something that’s really cute.
Design element: Decorated hand-drawn eggs styled with feathers, and fairy lights for a soft, whimsical vignette.
Your Front Door Deserves to Get in on the Fun Too
Easter porch decor is one of those things that makes such a big impression.
And you don't need a lot to make your front door festive! A single wreath with a coordinating sign or a seasonal doormat is really all it takes.
If your door is a neutral color, Easter spring decorations in bright pinks and yellows pop nicely.
Design element: A spring wreath paired with a porch sign for a welcoming entryway.
Anchor Your Colors
Sometimes with Easter, it’s easy to go overboard on ALL the spring colors. Pink, green, lavender, light blue. They’re all so pretty!
But one idea to try is to pick one anchor color and then let the other elements vary around it. The other colors then complement your anchor color. You could go with yellow daffodils, a yellow ceramic container, and yellow pottery. It’s cohesive but not matchy-matchy.
This kind of Easter home decor could go on a dining table, a kitchen island, or even a bookshelf. So simple!
Design element: A single anchor color repeated across different vessels for a cohesive centerpiece.
Flowers for a Fresh Upgrade
Another simple idea, fresh flowers! You don’t always need elaborate Easter spring decorations to make your home feel special.
A simple bouquet in a clear vase does a lot. The key is going soft with your colors (e.g., blush, white, pale green) and keeping the arrangement loose and natural rather than stiff and formal.
Place them on a dining table, a bathroom counter, a nightstand, anywhere you want a little touch of spring. Flowers like these also go well as part of a larger Easter brunch tablescape if you're hosting this year. Yes, I'll gladly accept the invite!
Design element: A loose, soft-toned floral arrangement in a clear vase for a versatile Easter accent.
All Your Eggs in a Basket
What a great reminder that natural finds are some of the best Easter home decor you can work with.
All you need to pull this off is a woven basket, some speckled quail eggs, a few white eggs, and a handful of fresh daffodils. It looks like you went to the farm!
It's not perfect and that's exactly the point. If you want Easter decor ideas that are a little rustic, start with a basket you already own, add some faux or real speckled eggs, and finish it with whatever fresh flower is at your grocery store this week.
Design element: Use a basket, some speckled eggs, and a few stems for a straight-from-the-farm vibe.
Spruce up Your Flower Pot
Do you have a green thumb? Then why not spruce up your plants! Stick a little sign right into a flower pot and call it done. A “Happy Easter” or “Hello Spring" stake sign placed into a pot of pansies or violas makes your porch feel festive without much effort on your part. Other than tending to your plants of course!
This is one of those Easter decorating ideas that go on a front porch, a kitchen windowsill, or a dining table centerpiece. You can find garden stake signs at most craft stores or make your own if you're feeling creative.
Design element: A decorative garden stake sign nestled into a live flowering plant.
A Low-Key Easter Aesthetic
If you haven't tried naturally dyed Easter eggs yet, this might convince you to try it. The muted hues are so much more interesting than anything you get out of a standard dye kit.
You can group them together in a shallow box or on a metallic tray. They don’t need that much else around them.
You can get these tones using red cabbage, turmeric, beet juice, and spinach. It's a fun afternoon activity and you end up with something great to display as part of your Easter spring decorations.
Design element: Grouping naturally dyed eggs in muted, varied tones for a sophisticated, artful Easter display.
A Flower Basket Centerpiece
Yet another spring centerpiece that’s so easy to recreate. Grab a basket and loosely fill it with pink, white, and cream flowers.
The secret is the basket. Swapping a traditional vase for a woven basket makes your arrangement more seasonal and Easter-specific.
If you're putting together Easter table decor this year, bring out a basket you already have, fill it up, and let that be your centerpiece.
Design element: A woven basket used as a floral vessel instead of a traditional vase.
